Burbank is a great town with some serious challenges: increased traffic, spikes in crime, a looming explosion of huge developments, parks that have become campgrounds, a chronic shortage of police officers and now corruption in city hall? What can we do about it? Well, it’s time to come together and make some changes on the city council. This was the moment from a recent city council meeting that inspired the the Burbank Community Summit:
Please come to the Burbank Community Summit. Thursday January 19th from 7 – 8:30pm at the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) meeting room at 1006 W Magnolia Blvd, Burbank, CA 91506. The summit will be meeting of concerned citizens from every corner of the city and from multiple community based organizations like Preserve Burbank and Save Burbank Neighborhoods. The goal of the evening is to discuss the serious issues we face as residents, pool our resources and resolve ourselves to hold our elected officials accountable this February.
Here’s a map to the venue. There should be ample street parking that evening.
