Linda, would love to hear more. What is it about Glendale that you wouldn’t want here in Burbank? High rises? Traffic? I think a lot people here agree. Oh and thanks for posting a comment – you are literally our first commenter on the blog!

Burbank has lost so much of it’s quality of life which used to be it’s attractiveness . But now traffic congestion, weak or paid off city council members who push for development and a city hall that sees revenue as it’s only way to be a strong city. I moved out of state but still rent properties in Burbank. I left because peace and quiet no longer excist in Burbank. The quiet weekends are lost, the bedroom community no longer like it was. Now overcrowding , retail , and poor planning all rule daily life in Burbank.

One of the reasons I started this blog was to inspire people to discuss these problems then learn how to change things for the better. If we don’t ask questions and voice our concerns the well-funded will walk all over us. Sorry you left Burbank but glad you are still involved from afar.

BV, congratulations to you and the volunteers. I still think Burbank is salvageable. The most recent trends in Talaria and the Airport are particularly problematic and we need to pay attention and hold our elected officials accountable. I’m looking forward to the conversations here.
